Students are taught all subject areas: Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Students also master other important educational and career skills such as problem-solving and information processing.

ESOL – English for Speakers of Other Languages

 

All aspects of English are taught: listening, speaking, reading, writing, new vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation, and grammar. Students learn to communicate better with employers, doctors, their children and their children’s teachers, thus becoming more independent in the U.S. Students become better candidates for jobs and advanced education.

College Readiness & Career Pathways

Everything you need to prepare for college and careers.  Students will be guided through online platforms that meet the requirements of: industry, academics, and technology.

Technology Goes Home (TGH) 

(All Classes Meet Online)

This is a "beginners" 18 hour introduction course that will help students get started with email writing, and office applications.  Students receive a Chromebook Laptop to complete the course. Upon completion of the course, students earn the right to keep the Chromebook. 

(This course is limited to 10 students)

Wednesday 2 hours (2:00 pm - 4:00 pm)

Introduction to Computer Technology 

(All Classes Meet Online)

This is an intermediate course that offers basic to advanced computer classes. Students will be introduced to up-to-date technology skills for today's business world. Students will become proficient in email, word processing, and presentation software. Students will also gain knowledge with the various types of computer hardware. 

(This course is limited to 10 students)

Virtual Learning

 

If you have a busy schedule, enroll in our online distance learning program to advance your academic skills. You work at your own pace and on your own schedule. The teacher works with you through the Internet, email, phone, and supplemental face-to face coaching at school.

 

All Virtual learning instruction and materials are provided online.

South) or take Columbus Avenue to Washington

Williams Street (Doyle’s Restaurant on right), then left

into English High School parking lot.
