ADULT LEARNING PROGRAM

Programs of Study:
(Classes are Face-to-Face, and Virtual)
ESOL – English for Speakers of Other Languages
All aspects of English are taught: listening, speaking, reading, writing, new vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation, and grammar. Students learn to communicate better with employers, doctors, their children and their children’s teachers, thus becoming more independent in the U.S. Students become better candidates for jobs and advanced education.

ESOL PM (Levels 1 - 5 Virtual)
Classes meet Monday through Wednesday 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

HiSET Preparation
Students are taught all subject areas: Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Students also master other important educational and career skills such as problem-solving and information processing.

CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)
The CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant Certification for English Language Learners) is a 16-week, intensive program where learners are actively pursuing CNA and CPR credentials while improving their English language proficiency.
College Readiness & Career Pathways
Everything you need to prepare for college and careers. Students will be guided through online platforms that meet the requirements of: industry, academics, and technology.
Introduction to Computer Technology
This is an intermediate course that offers basic - advanced computer classes. Students will be introduced to up-to-date technology skills for today's business world. Students will become proficient in email, word processing, and presentation software. Students will also gain knowledge with the various types of computer hardware.

Our Volunteer/Tutor services will connect students one-on-one, and in small groups to accelerate learning in English, Math, Reading, Writing, HiSET, and Citizenship Test Preparation.

Distance Leaning (Proxy Hours)
If you have a busy schedule, enroll in our online distance learning program for a limited time to advance your academic skills. Work at your own pace and on your own schedule.
